Yes if they are caught red handed dealing drugs; why the delay in punishment? Why not quick response, what is there left to prove? Should we pay to check his life, whether he was abused or mistreated? I don't think that should be necessary.

I guess in a way they are, yet the left wing liberals want to legalize drugs. Some of the black leaders have even used them. ie; Marion Berry up in DC. then was elected to public office again. I agree drugs are more of a danger to them than the KKK. It is also a danger to white and hispanic Americans.
One thing I find hard to understand is how men like Gen. Colen Powell, Keyes, and Judge Thomas and others who have gotten an education and achieved their goals aren't praised by the likes of Jessie Jackson and his enablers. Seems these men and the Senator from Oklahoma, I forgot his name, would be who Jessie and the NAACP would be encourageing young blacks to respect and admire. Instead they treat them like they are ashamed of them, while glorifying Marion Barry. It just doesn't make sense.
If you really want people to better themselves you should point out people like them who have done well and accomplished their goals. Yet that isn't what Jessie does. He knows if young blacks get a good education and stay away from drugs and strive to greatness, he (Jessie) will be out of his well paying job! Because then they wont need him to beg for handouts for them. They won't owe him anything! They will have accomplished success on their own and then equality will really be their own achievement.
Not something that was tried to be made a law.
There is no way a law can make human beings equal. Each of us has equal opportunity to achieve as much as we are willing to work for. If you work hard enough you will not just be equal; you will be superior in your life accomplishments. Jessie Jackson and other liberal enablers would not be needed then!

Excellent post, Lenore! The liberals keep trying to "dumb down" the so called minorities, instead of teaching them how to succeed in life, so that they can have pride. I am not sure that I have ever once seen Jesse Jackson support anyone that was white in any way. Doesnt that make him a racist? THe only thing that I would like to add, is that if some liberal wakko tried to tell me that I was too stupid to make it on my own, and that I needed their help all the time, i would be VERY insulted! The only group of people in USA that is actually a minority now, is the white male, as they have no special laws to help them out. All the other people do..
