Would like info about being an Au Pair in Norway.

I'm a college educated 25yr. old s/w/f from the U.S. interested in being an au pair or elder care-giver in Norway.

I am interested in becoming a permanent resident of Norway and would like to live and work with a family while I learn the Norwegian language. I would then like to continue working in Norway in any occupation while attending a Norwegian university.

I have Norwegian heritage and love Norway. My ancestors came from the Steinkjer area and left Norway from the port at Trondheim so I am particularly interested in living in that part of Norway but am willing to live/work in any other part of the country as well.
