Well its that time of the year...so whats for your xmas lunch ??

I am not sure what we are doing this year due to hubbies work but
we will celebrate somehow !!

Its not hard to cook for one vegetarian and one meat-eater and I have had
experience of that the last four years !!

As long as I have the veggie gravy ready and veggie xmas pudding it
will be ok...lol

Ahhhhhhhhhh noooo not veggie Christmas dinner, I just couldn`t bear it.Its a traditional goose and all the trimmings for me, all my calorie counting goes by the wayside at that time of the year. What the heck is veggie Christmas pudding anyway?

Naw give me something I can taste Babzzi......Ive tried the rabbit food before and hated it.

I have to be a vegetarian or I will be ill !!

Mind you I am one that doesn't like many veggies...lol

I do not make hubby suffer though he will be having the full whack of
xmas goodies even to the silly hat on his head from the cracker lolololol

Sorry to hear about that Babzzii, i myself have some intolerance to pasta( gluton )but i love it so much i put up with the bad guts every now and then.

Glad to hear hubby gets his Christmas dinner, party hat etc. we wouldn`t like to upset the better half.

Have to say he doesn't burn things as he does like cooking !!

I asked him what he would do for xmas dinner if I left it up to him and was
pleased when he came up with:

Starter:

Carrot and Coriander soup

Main Course:

Creamed Potatoes
Roast Potatoes
Roast Parsnips
Carrots and Swede (mashed tog)
Sprouts(yuk)
Cabbage
Stuffing...not sure what flavour
Quorn Roast for me
Beef for him
2 kinds Gravy

Dessert:

Christmas Pudding and Cream

or
Home made Apple Pie with
Cream/Ice Cream

Sounds good but not sure I could eat all that !!

Wonder if I could add Yorks Puddings to that list....lolol

So I will be busy, still only me as the one vegetarian, meat for that
lot will be turkey and lamb !!

I do miss eating lamb !!!
