Dear Administrator,
In some forums, there are consist of several pages long, which the first page come first when we open it. I found it inconvenience, what about if the latest page come first. Thanks. |

I agree with you ... I found it an inconvenience also. The longer running topics are the ones where you want to see the latest happenings, and not recap over the past. I'm sure it will be looked at, although it may be a restriction of the software. It would be great if it could happen though wouldn't it? :-)

Hello everyone,
Although the current software supports the reverse order you mention, we have chosen to take a different route. You will notice that the latest version of the bulletin boards allows you to skip to the last page either at the top or the bottom of the first page when you enter. This allows us the best of both worlds. New members to the forum have the opportunity to read the original posting to find out what its all about, and old members can simply click through to the last page without weeding through the pages in between. We have to take both perspectives into account when organizing the threads. All the best, NewZealand.com |
