I like the new changes, but I have a very bad stigmatism, is there anyway to change the print to black instead of white? It's driving my eyes crazy.

But I like it too.....

Now this is really nice, the white is a bit hard on the eyes, and for me I think because it is smaller or does it just look that way?
Nice job though.....

Thanks for the feedback, you two. We're still working on incorporating a new color scheme for the discussion boards and we're not quite done yet. We'll see what we can do over the next few days to make the text easier to read.

Feel free to let us know if you experience any problems or difficulties with the new systems and we'll try to help out in any way we can.

Take care!

Talking Your welcome.

MacBright posted in a topic that he was having a prob with the white also, but that seem to be the only problem I have run into so far, I love this......good job.

We've made the text black for the time being until we finish the design scheme for the discussion boards to make them easier to read. Hope this helps!

This is great! Much easier on the eyes. I hope you don't change too much.

This site needed updating, good job Admin!
As you asked for comment...
I like the smaller characters.
The white was indistinct on the light grey, especially for bad eyes or an older monitor.
As the colourscheme was white/light blue, how about blue lettering?
The emailnotification leads to an in between screen.
Saw you improved the logging in -now also appearing at the reply-window.
And again... no Hotel California please!
(You can check in any time you like, but you can never leave.)
So I would like a log-out button.
When I'm only having a quick update read I don't like to be seen as logged in.
Keep up the good work, grtz, Mac.

Mac, you can check out.....look at "community" in the small print right above the ad at the top. Log into that and you can have the option of loggin out. I found it by accident.

The emailnotifications works properly again.
(And no mail-bombs becourse of a lively topics anymore.)

Dear Admin,
Thanks to Becca I finally found the log-out option.
Being logged out one can't post anymore, but one is still sensed as logged-in on that bottombar; no time out for that.
Last night (cet) I logged out, this morning I had a look and found myself present on the bottombar again (before I logged in).
I don't mind being seen when I'm up to posting, but I do mind being named when I'm only quickly passing by or reading.
It's a matter of privacy!
(And of not having to answer questions why I wasn't somewhere else, or didn't post. )
Greetz, Mac.

PS.
What is the time-out time?

Thumbs down Logging Out

I found that too Mac. You log-out, but you're still shown as being on. Only when I cleared my temp file and history did it finally show me as being logged-out.
I agree too, it's a "privacy" thingy.

Another confusion

Don't use the date the board provides. Even though I was able to adjust the time for eastern time, the date is still a day ahead.

Now I'm really confused. Before I posted the date was saying December 12th and after I posted the dates changed to December 11th. Something kinda "eeeeeeeeeeeee" going on here!

Hello you two!

We'll have our development team take a look at the logging out/member display concerns you have to see what they can do about that.

The date and time are set for New Zealand local time. Currently in New Zealand it is 5:31 am on Tuesday December 12. This is a day ahead of those of you in Europe or the United States right now. (We might have to update the threads to ensure that the date is the same on all of them...we'll give it a try).

I love the black, it is much easier to read. I also noticed the date difference, but realised it was NZ time, so why does the edit not read NZ time but a day behind?
