My grandfather, Paul C. Gibert, served in the European theater during World War II. He was an Army medic, and while serving in Belgium fell in love with a Belgian woman named Suzanne von Rieselberger (this may be misspelled). Although he planned to return to Belgium to marry her, he was already engaged to my grandmother and she persuaded him to stay in the U.S. to marry her instead. He may have already married Suzanne, or she may have been pregnant when he returned to the States. My family would very much like to find Suzanne and talk to her about my grandfather (who died in 1977) and to find out whether we have a long-lost relative! If you can provide any assistance, please contact me at jlgbarnes@yahoo.com. Thank you!

Hi, I find my father who was in Belgium during WWII, my search took 36 years when I came to the states to look for him in 1966. I am now 56. he too told my mother he would return but he never returned. I supose when we talk next week he will tell me what really happed. It would be great if you could find the correct spelling of her name, I just did a search of the white page in Belgium and did not find anything. Do you know were she lived at the time she met you grand father? let me know if I can do anything to help. Good luck, Jeanine honeyb9711@aol.com
