Looking for family name of Misson

I am looking for relatives of the Misson family who were born in Belgium and emmigrated to the United States between the years of 1888 and 1890. The names in my family line are:

Victor or John Victor born 9/1832 husband
Mary born 6/1838 wife ( do not know maiden name)
Achille born 6/1873 son

I know from census records Victor and Mary had 4 children but I have only found one and they all spoke French. I was told that the family left Belgium and went to France for a time and then to the United States. Victor was a painter and Achille was a glass blower. They both worked in the glass factories in Indiana and Ohio.

Can anyone tell me anything about the name Misson? Is this the correct spelling and where in Belgium might they have been from? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Janice
