Looking for relatives. Louisa Nilson; maiden name Israelsson. Louisa's husband was Nils Nilson. Louisa's father was Israel Israelsson born Feb 13, 1833 and lived in Spoland, Vannas. Louisa had a daughter Freda Amanda born May 28, 1893 at Venice, Vesterboten. Freda married Johan Karlsson April 20, 1913 in Umea, traveling to Canada on the Empress of Ireland. Hmm the locality names are probably not spelled correctly?
Vasterbotten is one of the provinces

Hi, the correct names are Spöland, Vännäs, Västerbotten and Umeå. (Note that "Venice" should also be Vännäs, it is actuallt pronounced "Venice"...there´s a true story about a Japanese couple buying train tickets in Stockholm and asking for Venice but getting tickets to Vännäs)
