looking for relatives

I am looking for family in Vesterbotten. Years ago a family member used to write to a Anna Johansson of Nastansjo. I am not sure where this is. We are coming to sweden in late august early september. My gr.grand parents are johanna persdotter and Anders Samuelsson. My gr. gr.gr.are Isak Persson and Elisabeth Samuelsson of Vesterbotten. We would love to meet some of my cousins there. If anyone knows of these people or can help me find some relatives please email me.. Thank you very much. Also could anyone tell me some sites or places to stay in vesterbotten. Hi,
I saw your post and I felt compelled to reply. I live in Västerbotten but have never been to Nästansjö (yes, that´s how it´s spelled) but nearby Saxnäs is beautiful.
Nästansjö is a village in the county (in swedish: kommun) of Vilhelmina. Logging seems to be the main business but it is also a nice place for ornithologists because of the cranes that pass by there each year.

Welcome to Västebotten by the way, I hope you´ll like it. I would recommend visiting the mountain range which, incidentally, is where Nästansjö is located. The Baltic coast is also very nice. In Umeå (by the coast) where I live there is the Västerbotten museum which might be of interest.
