I can not find how to go to Goteborg Record office and ask for the birth record. I am looking for relatives of Bertil Charles Johanson, dob-24 of July, 1912, Goteborg. He came to USA early in the 1940's and was Naturalized in 1945. He lived in New York. I heard that a sister was in New York looking for him in the 70's. I hope an office that has birth records will have the names of his parents and then I can find names of other children. I think Bertil was an elected official in Goteborg in 1932 for several years. He may have been appointed because of his family position in the community. Thank you. Johanson
