Heyyy!

I recently found that the surname i have is not actually my ancestral name. Fanning, is the name i am suppost to have. My Grandma tells me she thinks my ancestors came from Fanning Island in Kiribati. They were Europeans on the island for some reason, i do not have a clue what for.

I would be very interested to hear from anyone with the surname Fanning or from anyone else who may know something as i would really love to know where my roots lie!
