I'm relocating to Bruges and looking for a 3 bedroom or large 2 bedroom apartment with a lot of light (windows), for a year's lease. Should I go through an agent or should I look around myself? What are the real prices of an apartment and are the agent apartments marked up much?

agent is the easy way.

Renting in Bruges, especially in the center, will be pretty expensive...although not as expensive as in the big cities of Belgium like Antwerp or Brussels or Gent etc...
