to move forward.

G'day guys,

Niquie... What an excellent topic, thank you.

Prior to my relatively recent 'accident'; that rendered me 'braindead', I had another brain 'problem' i.e. being dyslectic. Now those readers whom have this same problem I guess would have had the experience; particularly in the areas where less emphasis is paid on an egalitarian education system, of avoiding reading. Fortunately, however, I was given a book (H G Wells 'History of the World') and encouraged to read it by a mentor; since I'd shown interest in science, ancient history and archaeology. This book blew me away and I soon became an avid reader which was just as well since I went on to do Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering... Excuse me for wondering off course or thread... the point I was trying to make, for an all encompassing book on everything they don't come much better than H G Wells's 'History of the World'; which is it's self a bit of history; which sadly was at risk of being lost had it not been for:-

Hey 'Jasperthecat', do you have that one in your collection? I can't compete with your 1,000 + book library but hopefully soon I'll have almost 250 books; mainly SiFi, on my Palm which I love to death!

Regards

Braindead
