Hi!
I am against violance, and I think that you can never solve violance with violance. I find it so horrible that still so many parents use beatings, "spankings", to get their children under control. Shouldn't your family be a place, where you can always feel safe and protected? I know children don't ever behave, but I believe that every behavior has its reasons. A child has problems, when it misbehaves, and I don't think that you can solve problems with beatings. What do you think about it? Farang |

children must know that discipline is there and that it will be enforced
I know parents whose children aged 8, HIT THEM and punch them as they walk along the street, whining and screeching on about some lame problem, the parents do not react ok, an 8 year old can't do ANY damage by hitting their parents, that's NOT the point the point is that children AT A YOUNG AGE, must know that there are definite ground rules, this must be established EARLY I say violence should RARELY be required to establish this RARELY means a couple of times a year but that COULD BE NECESSARY to teach a child WHO IS BOSS just my 2 cents ![]() |
