What are they working for, why all the secrecy?
In the last weeks of May some of the most powerful people in west attended a meeting at Hotel Stenungsbaden in Stenungsund. A meeting that should have drawn a lot of media interest but no journalists were found. So the question is - What exactly is "Bilderberggruppen" what sort of influences do they have. Do they make decisions concerning nations outside the democratic process? Just wondering. /Alex

Hello Thule
You and I may not always see things the same way but in this case I have to agree with you. The kind of people you find in the Bilderberger- group are not the type that waste time on small talk, if they found it necesarry to meet in this way (which they apparently do regularily but I do not know how often) then they probably took some pretty important decisions. What I find disturbing is that swedish politicians such as swedish PM Göran Persson were present but afterwards they did not reveal a thing about what had been said or decided. So much for public representatives. Regards Thomas PS. Why are we posting this in the gay and lesbian section? This Bilderberger- group gets more and more interesting. Perhaps that is why Göran did not want to speak up. DS. |

Bilderberg Conference 2002
Excerpt from speech delivered by Mr. Andre Jackson (the Chairman of JFPI Corporation) at the Bilderberg Conference (2002) / Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA
(speech originally delivered in French, with English translation) " To Mr. Martin Taylor, distinguished members and guests of the Bilderberg Group <pause> I thank the untold number of courageous, unselfish choices made by a handful of visionary citizens of the Bilderberg Group; each with a strong sense of citizenship responsibility to the times in which they lived; each unafraid to permit their position to reflect their views and values, ethical and moral, and moreover, acknowledge them as their own. They were always aware of the odds that stood against them and their efforts were overwhelming and likely could have proven too high to overcome. Still, those decision makers persevered, speaking through their established channel of sources to the best in all of us. <pause> In addition, I have benefited from their relentless effort and unconditional support. <pause> Honest and fair governments benefited from their effort. America has benefited from their effort. <pause> Moreover, in ways large and small the world has benefited from their endless effort. <pause> Therefore, with respect, I share this great honor of being invited into the Bilderberg Group. This most memorable moment would not have happened and the many influential power brokers who have followed in admirable fashion might not have come, as they have to enrich the tradition of decision making as they have. <pause> I accept this award in memory of all the great men of African descent who went before me in the difficult years, on whose shoulders I was privileged to stand to see where I might go. <pause> My love and my thanks to my wonderful family, and finally, to those members of the Bilderberg Group around the world who have placed their trust in my judgment as an influential decision maker, I thank each of you for your support through the years. Again, I thank you." <applause> No part of this excerpt may be quoted, reproduced, or reprinted without permission in writing from the Bilderberg Group. |
