Hi Beth,

guess it depends where 'here' is !? If you mean in NZ, there are definitely lesbians. If you mean at this website - I guess so, wouldn't know personally as I am not lesbian (I have been living with my boyfriend for a couple of years).

Cheer up

LJ

What a bunch of ignorant ****s you all are. Can't understand why you're posting your ****ed up opinions on a message board for lesbians and gays - is there no sacred space left for genuine queers?

I agree .... such outdated and homophobic opinions are not only antiquated and out of step with modern reality, but also indicate a certain weakness in the character of the person. Why be afraid of gay people unless you feel threatened by it? Get a life! And start to be tolerant of other people's lifestyles. The modern world is supposed to be more understanding and promoting more individuals right to freedom of self-expression. Ignorant homophobe viewpoints indicate the reason why society must strive even further ... obviously some people still live in the dark ages.

I'm from the US, and concidering all that been going on here, I have thought about studying in NZ. I am a gay male (21) and was just recently there to visit. I didn't notice a big gay community... is there a gay community there? Gay clubs? I don't know...?! Please inform me of great gay things in NZ! e-mail me back at "gold_sean@hotmail.com"
thanks NZ!

Obviously the people who keep coming back here only to put down the gay and lesbian community are being drawn back for some reason. Perhaps it's because they're the ones in the closet? Most likely. Studies have shown people (especially men) who gay bash are doing it to falsely reinforce they're failing hetrosexuality. Don't blame these people because you can't get an erection while having sex with your girlfriend without thinking about her athletic older brother. If you don't want to be viewed as a closet homesexual, then don't bash them.

To all those who feel the need to put down the gay ans lesbian. You all must feel insecure but your own sexuality. I am a lesbian and prode of it. I don't hide it,that is how I know who are my friends and are not.
