Hi again, I opened a new thread so that it is more visible as the deadline Jan 8th is approaching too fast :-(

The source is Amnesty International USA (http://www.amnestyusa.org/)

here is the original text but you can learn more about this issue and take action by going to the website with that link :

Thanks again. if you can spread the word, that would be great.

Prevent the Execution of Chris Foster in Mississippi

Ron Chris Foster (m), black, aged 30, is scheduled to be executed in Mississippi on January 8, 2003, on his 31st birthday. He was sentenced to death for the 1989 murder of George Shelton. Amnesty International is deeply concerned that Chris Foster was sentenced to death for a murder committed when he was only 17 years old. International law, respected by almost every country in the world apart from the USA, prohibits the use of the death penalty against people who were under 18 at the time of the crime.

Smile Thank you for your participation

Thank you all for your participation. Each of your letter/email counts, thanks again.
now we just have to cross fingers so that the death penalty will be abolished in the juveniles' cases.
the best would be a complete abolition in all states... a couple more years... hopefully.
loads of love
