Urge the US Government to Refrain from the Use of Indiscriminate Weapons in Iraq

The US Government has indicated that it is considering the use of indiscriminate weapons in Iraq. Such weapons are likely to result in increased civilian casualties. Under principles of international humanitarian law, civilian lives and objects must be protected to the maximum extent possible. Urge President Bush to adhere to international obligations, particularly rules of engagement, and to protect civilian life to the maximum extent possible.
