Hello Everyone, My grandparents are from Belgium. And my Uncle must of got this from them... Whenever he see's someone doing something goofy, he always says "hofadomma" with a smirk on his face. I'm not to sure about the spelling but if you say it out loud, you'll know what it is if you know belgium. Please tell me what it means, it would be cool to know, Thanks everyone.... Jason

Hi,
I'm not sure, but I think it should be "God ver domme!" (not sure about spelling), which would mean "God Damn!" That's what it sounds like anyway. ===== konner, irl. |

, but the word Godverdomme comes from "God verdoem mij" which means nothing more than "God Damn me, let me be damned"If your uncle came from the West of Flanders, or even the Netherlands, where they pronounce G more like an H..you get something like Hod...... My two Euros |
