Wassup everybody!
Recently I've heard one interesting Swedish saying "Smaken som baken delad". It's funny, eh? If somebody knows more such sayings, please write it down here, I just love the stuff. Thanks. |

Actually it is "smaken ÄR som baken, delad" which literary means "taste (opinion) is like an ass, divided". This is what you say when opinions are divided, say about if meatballs is great food or not.

Hmm... never heard of that Ninecats! And hardly possible to translate... because it would not make sense. But for pedagogic reasons I will translate it to English (including the grammatic errors).
Ung kvinnors fittor kommer att fika och träffas Young women´s ****s will have coffee and meet Things that make you go hmm.... The love for the word "fitta" should be shown with discretion, as it is basically a curseword. ![]()

to the sound of the Swedish word that I don't want to repeat here, as you hear no sound by just reading it. But you know, in English it might give an idea of something/somebody that fits well. So extremely positive, I'd say. Fittable, I'd better say. Yes, c-u-nt is very vulgar in English. Mykfin, please you know much better than that. You tricky personwith K words replacing real c. ![]() Let's see : quim, plum-cake, the-little-soldier-in- the-wood, finger-pie, nothing-but-everything-delicious, My favourite is twiddly or twaggly, it depends on the day, as we usually say in this part of Europe. ![]() No astericks, you see .Lycka till. PS A nice word in Swedish about The Word ? |
