Do you know of any that can be claimed as the best one or even a group of them?

I liked the old carry on doctors film's staring Dick Bogard. Bit of a funny classic.

I loved the Hammer Horror films like Vampire Circus and The Reptile, and I like also Carry On Up The Khyber, Carry On Cleo and Carry On Screaming.
Other good British films:

Zulu
The Third Man
Life of Brian
Funeral in Berlin
Day of the Jackal
Sweeney 2
Blow Up
Ipcress File
Get Carter

I'm struggling to think of recent ones but most British films now are "girly" like Four Weddings, Trainspotting, Notting Hill etc

Not as girly as those Hugh Grant films, but the fights in it were really Disney-like and silly, but the comedy bits were good.
Haven't seen snatch or barrels but I forgot one: The Usual Suspects was a British film but it was set in the US, I thought that was really good.
