I'm mainly a Hard Rock music band, but I do like very much a swedish band call the Ark. I saw them some weeks ago in Rock am Ring, and they're really good!

Hi boys!
I read your discussion, what about pop?
I think The Hives and The Ark are some of the best bands of this years, their last hits ("Main offender" and "Tell me this night is over") are simply wonderful!
What do you think?
And what about similar kinds of music, which are the best singer of this moment? Markoolio, Alcazar, Play, Sahlene, Patrik Isaksson?
Bye
Marco

Karro: Hel and Ultima Thule isn't psychobilly. The proper name for their style of music is "viking rock". To my knowledge only Ultima Thule has ever recorded a psychobilly song and that was a cover of a song by Dememnted Are Go.

oh..sorry! Here we called it psychobilly. Maybe it's the lack of knowledge about Sweden music of my friends which are psycobill. Anyway, my swe-friend told me it's called Vikingarock there in Sweden.

Tack!

To my knowledge psychobilly is style that mixes rockabilly with punk rock and often has lyrics about zombies, serial killers and such, hence the name.

If you're interested here's an american viking rock distro: http://www.vikingthunderrecords.com/main.html
