Maria Bethania is not only Caetano Veloso's sister. She has a consistent career of her own and she is known by her dramatic performances. Though not as popular as some other MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) artists such as Caetano, Chico Buarque and Elis Regina (who died in the early 80's but is still considered by many as the best Brazilian singer from all times), Bethania has her own faithful audience.
