"But what annoys me is the way countries seem to vote politically, you
can't tell me this was not happening !!"

With respect, Babzii, yes I can.
As I said above:

Predictions for the voting:
Despite political and historic animosities,
The UK will give a good mark to Ireland, (correct!)
Germany will give a good mark to Turkey, (correct!)
Poland will give a good mark to Ukraine, (correct!)
Ukraine will give a good mark to Russia, (correct, I think)
Latvia will give a good mark to Russia. (correct!)

It is immigrants!
Poland is full of Ukrainians, Germany is full of Turks, UK is full of Irish, Latvia & Ukraine are full of Russians.
They are voting for their own country.

I don't mind that you haven't noticed it, but that syrup-wearing, retarded Irish ponce Wogan has been covering Eurovision for years and he still thinks Croatia would vote for Serbia for political reasons!!!
Poland & Ukraine still simmer over butchering each other during WW2, for God's sake.

The whole of Europe has been passing around the BBC website's whingeing about 'political' voting as an example of the sort of idiots that exist in our mainstream media - I got an e-mail from an Aussie who asked me if it was really the BBC - it's becoming a national embarassment

Cool

If I can have a say, I must hold that if England votes
for Ireland, apart from the immigrants, I find that quite
surprising. You know, I'm Italian, and I must say that
if there are people utterly hostile to England and
Englishness they happen to be Irish first of all, then
Scottish and Welsh. So, sorry for frankness, but you
have your worst enemies at home or neighbourhood. This
according to what I've heard directly from Irish,Scottish
and Welsh people visiting my country. That doesn't mean
that I agree with them, of course. They're welcome to
England and then......they spit in the dish they eat from.
Many of them work as teachers of English Language. The
language of oppression, I suppose from what they say.
And they earn money thanks to that 'oppression ', the least
I can say. In Italy, at least, we have our own language
without blaming any language of 'oppression'. I love
English Language and I don't think it as oppression.

To end with, I don't think all those Celts are to be
considered reliable people. After all, when they don't
slate England ( Anglo-Saxons ) they slate Italy ( Romans ).
They are the false warriors dominated by the Real Warriors.
History has it. Nothing new under the sun.

All the best.
