Sun Caged ( http://www.suncaged.com ) and Arabasque ( http://www.arabesque-site.com ) are currently trying to compose a (mini-) tour together in France (and maybe Belgium). We need your help. Transportation is not a problem. All we need is bookers/venues, and info about hotels. We need to get 2 or 3 (or more) dates in a row. 6 or 7 would be extremely cool. We were thinking of 1 show in Belgium, then 2 in France, and then one in Belgium again on our way back to Holland. Something like that. More = better. We're not trying to make big bucks. All we need is to get our expenses covered. We'll play anywhere, as long as there's a decent back-stage room (big enough for 11 musicians and about 3 crew members), decent PA and a stage of at least 30 square meters. People who are willing to physically help us will be rewarded! :-) Please don't send us adresses and/or phone numbers of venues. We are asking YOU to help us booking shows. We're asking you to call venues and make them aware of Sun Caged. You can refer to http://www.suncaged.com. They'll probably ask for promo material. Email info@suncaged.com and we'll send it to the venues. You will be our contact-person. We're goaling for gigs in April/May of this year. If a venue wants to book us any other time, please tell us! Sun Caged
For the people who don't know Sun Caged yet:
Sun Caged is a new progressive metal act, formed by ex-Within Temptation drummer Dennis Leeflang and ex-Lemur Voice guitar-virtuoso Marcel Coenen. Sun Caged's music can be described as progressive metal (Dream Theater, Pain Of Salvation, Evergrey) incorporating classic metal vocals (Bruce Dickinson etc.), various jazz and fusion elements as well as heavy metal. Sun Caged have been touring extensively since late 2001 and have built up a high reputation for their explosive live appearance. The band recently released their self-financed EP "Dominion" and gained interest of several record companies. Sun Caged hope to be able to record a full-length cd in the very near future.
