It is OKAY to hate

There are certain groups which it is still okay to hate.

Germans, Jews, Fat People, White Men and Christians. Time magazine had a picture of Helmut Kohl as Kohl Slaw AKA kraut the meaning was clear. They would not use racial slures aganis a black but a German is okay. Prehaps us Germans do dersive it. The tendency to blame the victoms is not appropriate. Time was out of line. That kind of cartoon belonge in say Mad magazine.

Did I leave out any goups whe are still allowed to hate?

I left out salesmen. In Denver the wrong man house was stormtrupered in a no knock raid and a man was killed. Wrong house or inaccurate info on the warent for the raid and yet people are more concerned about ending telemarketing than our worthless war on drugs.

You raise an interesting point in what you say. Is it still alright to hate? My firstreaction is no - naturally. I have German ancestry - why should I pay for the past? Why should any young German today feel any guilt whatsoever over the actions of his countrymen years before he was born? Is it still alright to hate the Jews? technically no, but I can see why it happens. What about fat people you say? Sure, why not - and men, blacks, disabled, short, pimply, chinese, homosexuals, democrats ..... where does it end? When we analyse it all, all of this hate leaves a pitifully little amount of love left in the world

I also tend to agree with Bob Proctor in his "We Are Born Rich" series. There he explains in detail that the more negative thoughts we have, the more negativity we feed our subconscious & consequently the more negativity we attract like a magnet........Life's too good to resort to that. We ALL deserve better!

Why not focus on all of our good points & grow from our mistakes?

Some people aren't luckier than other's, although they may seem to be.....We ALL have an equal opportunity.....People create their own luck through Their All Powerful Mind!!

I think your right with that subject, I always think about it, how it's ok to put down white people, but it's hell if you put down any other races, I live in the U.S. and I think it happens here more often then anywhere else. It's the whole society from teens to adults, I think it's because most white people grown to not caring, and other races always make a scene out of it if they get put down because of their race. So I think that's why it's ok to put down whites and not any other races. M

very interesting post about alright to hate, i live in the uk and it is completly ok to hate white english people, men mainly, it is taboo to say anything about any other race, colour, creed, sexual preference or otherwise, in the uk we have a massive industry built up on helping any body (exept us)who washes up on our shores,local councils,doctors,lawyers,charities,housing authorities,interpreters,social workers,race relations officers,immigration workers, ethnic community centres,hostels,we even have special meals prepared for ethnic kids in our schools and our kids have time out of school to celebrate hindu,seek, and moslem official holidays, the list is endless, so its a money thing, its the only industry left in the uk.

I guess we are still very undeveloped in our emotional side compared to our rational side. We do not automatically trust on anyone, any stranger. That's very understandable.

Long ago we trusted our neighbors. We didn't believe that they are going to rape or loot us. We knew them.

Today, we follow the money. We can't trust anyone. Everyone is our enemy, competitor. We are nothing unless we can make a million in a year.

If there are threats, we hate them. If someone makes more, we hate him/her. We make plans to destroy him/her.

We are becoming beasts to each other.

Wait! We have been beasts to each other as long as history goes. So what's different?

The reason. Long ago we had to fight each other to survive, then we spread our religions, those crusades, that are still on the move today.

And now we are on the war against our planet. The endless pursuit of happiness through making the most money as fast as possible. No matter who or what has to be sacrified.

Hate has it's grounds on inequality, uneducation and ignorance.

dear friends, i am from India and i want to join this discussion. There can be two different lines of thought. One is that we as a society and human race are moving ahead towards a better society and towards a matured human race....like the one visualised by ancient Greek philosopher Plato...towards a society where Law would not be required and would be useless. This is because everybody would know one's rights and duties and nobody would harm others. The other line of thought could be the one given by the sixteenth century British philosopher Thomas Hobbs....every body against everybody else...interests clashing and human beings behaving like wild beasts.....are we lying somewhere in between? In the USA this sort of thing is called Political Correctness -- and a backlash has been developing for quite some time now -- especially on the college campus where the phrase "Political Correctness" or PC was first coined.

As a hetrosexual white male I simply will not tolerate any disrespect being shown towards me on the account of my race or sexual orientation. In fact, just recently at work a black co-worker called me a "redneck" because of a conservative political remark I made in favor of President Bush, so I made a formal complaint and the gentleman was forced to withdraw his comments and ask my pardon.

There would be more of this happening in the USA and the world if whites would stand up for their civil rights...

The French have now told the UK that in return for closing the Sangatte Red Cross Camp, Britain MUST ACCEPT 1200
asylum seekers REGARDLESS of their status from that camp

in other words
take the people in that camp off our hands totally and completely, then we'll close it down

why can't FRANCE take those asylum seekers totally and completely and THEN close it down ??

Britain is THE asylum seeking CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE !!!

The Pope simply states that it is a Christian duty to welcome immigrants, yes but it costs £MILLIONS, who pays ?

In the last quarter 29000 asylum applications were made in Britain. Of those only 3500 were forced to leave and the Home Secretary hailed THAT as a triumph.
Within the next 10 years, whites will be the ethnic MINORITY in London. Within the next 100 years whites will be the ethnic minority in Britain. This is statistical analysis based on family growth of all ethnic groups moving into/living in Britain and published in national newspapers 2 years ago !

I have nothing against ANYBODY living in Britain, provided that they enter legally and support themselves and their family legally, that's all I ask
It would be nice to see everybody WORKING for a living too but I guess that's going one step TOO far eh ??
