Hi shanty,

Well where do you live now, do you live in Belgium or outside, I should say that I am not Belgian and do not know much about the country, besides good beer, great Belgian fries and Mr Poirot from the Agatha Christie books.

Talking The name?

Maybe they dont speak because they judge you by the name SHANTY? they might think you live in a Shanty,,Means poor folks house in the USA..some think they are high classed and judge by names..That is why i use justoleme..that means I am really nobody..this attracts folks into a comment..who think they are somebody..If you cant find anyone in Belguim to talk to you ,,try talking to Rikbe about goats,He is a citizen there. And a leading world expert on goats.

Hi shanty,
Well, I live in Canada, actually, Belgium.com is not very active that is all, it is not that people don’t want to talk to you it is just that it is kind of not very active.
So how long are you living in Australia ? Are there a lot of Belgians in Australia ?

Hi justo, shanty

No actually I live in Canada for about 9 years, I came to Canada from the ex-USSR. Canadian accent, I dont know, there is a bit of difference from the USA english but not to much. I speak French also, but you know the French Quebecois accent is different from the one that Belgians use, it is said that the Quebecois accent is the one that Moliere used to have, I am not sure how much it is true but because the French in Quebec were surrounded by English so the language did not evolve as it would in France.

So how you like living in Australia, do you like it there ?
