Thank you very much Sam, i dont know about sortoff, but you are 3 weeks too early for my birthday......... so it could be a glitch.

Talking of glitch`s, have you noticed all the new members who have been joining this site, sometimes 2to 3 a day, and not one has posted anything? not even an hello in the guest book! methinks someone is taking the piss.

Thanks again Sam.

Talking

Well it looks as though the forum has decided that it's eveyone's birthday today. So a Big Happy Birthday To All!!!...wherever you are!

We're snowed in here on the coast. Haven't seen this much snow since the early eighties. Absolute whiteout conditions yesterday. Even all the ferries have stopped running. The cable telly has been out since yesterday afternoon. People just don't know how to deal with all this snow. I was planning on going up to the college to write an exam today but the road conditions are pure hell and the schools are all shut down. DARN!!!

Well at least I have CBC radio, the internet and have stocked up on food and spirits.

Snow! whats that? its around 14c here in the UK with southerly winds, seems strange at this time of the year. Just been for a walk down by the river and i even got a sweat on.............. balmy weather.

I would love to be snowed in....... got plenty of booze.

Still a kid at heart, just love snow.

I'm on northern Vancouver Island on the west coast of B.C. We very rarely have snow here. Buckets of rain mostly so this is a rather nice change. The telly is back up and running and they are trying to clear the roads. Just went into town and it's not too bad.

There are banks of snow where the plows have plowed that are as high as a house. Not sure exactly how much snow we got but it looked to be a few feet deep. We are supposed to be getting rain tonight and the temp will drop therefore we will no doubt have black ice on the roads.

If only this would happen at Christmas for once.
