I smell a rat in New York City : the stench of a sham democracy where only money is the God to trust in.....remember the hypocrisy of mass destruction weapons that Saddam Hussein was blamed to detain and was not true information whatsoever. And the countries who helped the USA ( including Italy ! ) are also to be accused.

Remember Saddam Hussein himself : when he fought Iran he was good....then he became a terrorist !

Bin Laden is another example : when he fought the USSR, he was a good friend of the Western Society and the CIA built for him anti-nuclear underground tunnels and massive state-of-the-art refuge.
Then he became a terrorist and when smart ( so-called intelligent... ) bombs
were used against civilians in Afghanistan, clearly Bin Laden and his friends took cover from those bombs in those unmatchable shelters

I'm not stating the USA are evil, of course. They are not. But there is some decent dissent that should be lodged to them instead of always agreeing with them whatsoever. One thing is to be their allied country ( and I want Italy to stay an allied country to the USA ! ).

A different kettle of fish is to curry favours on and from them just to lick and drink their hen's milk at any rate.

Sorry for expanding from New York City to the entire country but I thought it necessary. It's necessary, I mean, to also be a friend by criticising the friend when he does not do the right thing. If we always agree, we also do the wrong thing. By committing to the war in Iraq, also Berlusconi and Italy did the wrong thing, to prove it.

Possibly, if Italy, Britain and others would have advised Bush and the USA not to get involved with the war in Iraq, the USA could have accepted the piece of advice from friends.

Politics aside, i dont think that they found the cause of the stink, perhaps it was due to everyone going to the crapper all at the same time.

Wow. Some folks have very acute senses of smell. Gas-like odor? Ummm....and how did you smell that special gas-like odor on top of the gas-like odor that is in the air every day? Not to mention the urine, rotting garbage, body odor and sewer smells.

How are things in New York? you paint a rather dismal picture of your home town, surely it cant stink that bad.

I come here now and then out of nostalga as all the forums on this VCI site are just devoid of any life.
