Sorry I'm late with this one but just couldn't resist replying. I was born in St Julians on the Mediterranean sea but at aged 2 my family left for Melbnourne, Australia and other than heaps of travelling, been based here since. Believe it or not Shevchenko (and by the way I just love that handle, is it Russian or something?) from 2 to 18 years of age I lived in St Albans a suburb of Melbourne!!!

There's a Doncaster in Melbourne as well, isn't there? I've lived in the Preston suburb.

I was born in Edinburgh - my mum was there at the time, I seem to remember, and because she was resident in Musselburgh about 7 miles from Edinburgh I went there to live to be beside her. Oh, and there was my father - he was there (in Musselburgh I mean) also.
I attended primary and grammar school in Musselburgh (because I was there at that time, I suppose). Then to work! London for 2 years.
Back to Musselburgh, and worked in Scotland for a while.
Married in 1972, moved to New Zealand in 1973 (wife wanted to go to NZ, and sort of insisted I go with her).
1979 we went to Brisbane, Australia, where we stayed until 1985.
Back to New Zealand, where I am now (still with the same first wife).
