What are some of your favorite places to visit in England?

I loved London, it was busy and smelly and interesting! Did the touristy ride on the river and had a blast waving at everyone! No one does that here!

Dartmoor was beautiful, even saw a heard of ponies and looked down on Widecome. (no Fair and no Mare though!)

York and Yorkshire. I have been to York both trips to the UK and would go back at the drop of a hat! The minster is awesome and it was too cool to be there for the organ rehersal! (I play the organ at church, getting to hear the one there was just a special treat!) Got a great pic of a class on their field trip sitting around a tree having an ice cream! Cute kids!

The Lake District, I need to go back there! Would like to find a path to just follow to the end!

Cotswolds, if I could, I'd buy a house there just to say I owned a thatched cottage! It's soo pretty there!

We met the nicest little nun in the Chester Cathedral, she liked my hubby's curled up mustach! Said her dad had one like it and used to tell her she could swing on it if she was a good little girl!

Getting to meet people was the best thing about our visit. We never ran into a grump or a grouch! Everyone was so friendly.
