Easter is coming up soon. Here in the States we don't have bank holidays, but sometimes, (for some holidays) we get 3 day weekends, where businesses and schools will be closed for Monday.... Presidents Day, Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Day etc.... We don't get this for Easter.
HOWEVER, since I no longer work, everyday is a holiday for me! (kathyv does a little chair dance!) Back on topic now... What are your plans for your holiday? We will most likely go to my in-laws for dinner and the in-law show! Church first, then a heel dragging 20 mile drive to Enterprise for the torture! They will have a BOX of pink wine, cook a meal worthy of Christmas and expect you to eat TWICE! LOL {groan} Note to self. . . *Must remember to stop at the store soon and pick up a bottle of decent white wine to take for me.*

Well, i usually take a week off and with a few friends walk the long distance footpath the West Highland Way (Scotland).
We have been doing this walk for the last 5 years and its got to be a yearly event. Unfortunately this year we have had to put it back to May or September. I love this walk at Easter because there is still snow on the mountains the air is crisp and clean just great for photos. So it looks like work on the garden and spring clean around the house, yuk! For those that are interested. http://www.west-highland-way.co.uk |
