Please forgive a potentially stupid question. I'm planning on visiting Stockholm for a week this summer and was wondering about attitudes towards americans these days. I'm a good looking half-Apache half-white guy [black hair, nice teeth, green eyes] so I'm a bit worried that I might stand out. Not all of us support Bush unilateralist policies!

Any words of wisdom from native swedes?

Well it depends on which persons you meet, people are different even in Sweden. What the most Swedes hate is the politics of the US, Bush and so on. It also depends on how you are toward those you meet. If you stand out think you are superior, arrogant and so on. Its a very high risk that you dont have nice teeth in your mouth anymore. People dont really care about how you look (unless you are very ugly, some might look strange on you)

Actually I don't want to come across as racist, obviously my comment was not taken in the context it was meant. The way he described himself, good teeth etc, sounded like he was describing a horse, not a human being. Perhaps my Aussie humour is a little too dry?
