I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there who shares the same interests as me and would like to be freinds/pen-pals or something?

I honestly do not have any freinds outside of the internet and spend all day inside doing my course, or playing my Playstation2. Well, i don't spend ALL day inside, but you know what i mean. I usually go on bike-rides if it's fine.

how could you not know how to make friends, you never had friends in your life?, cause I find that hard to believe.
I have had freinds, but i have no idea how they became my friends in the first place. (because this was way back when i was about 13 years old. I haven't made any new friends since then)

In the last couple of years all three or so of my friends have found more interesting people to hang out with, and gradually stopped being my friend.

dude just dress nicely fix your hair,go to the mall or restuarant or get a freaking job(by the way what do you even do?)and then meet people by being relaxed and cool, don't be like do you like video games,hehehehe, start up a conversation(intelligent) about something but be sarcastic a little and never act like you're afraid of the person, always act like you own the world. Then you'll definatley make friends,like ask them what they like,sports,dancing or even video games(but only ask guys about their favorite video games not girls).

But thats the problem. I've gotten to the stage now where i just don't care/mind if i have friends or not. I just can't be bothered looking either. For various reasons.

okay, yes you do need friends, and no, the internet is not the place to find them. the internet is a place to spend rainy days and check when you have nothing better to do or are grounded. i'm 16, and i definitely have friends on the internet, but you can never do things with them. they are just people to talk to when you don't really want to discuss something with your friends from school/work/church/activities/sports/community/clubs/mall/i don't know where else. first things first, if you want to make new friends, you have to REALLY want to. be willing to put some effort into. put on a nice pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and step outside of the house. you must go to school or work sometime! so talk to the people there. get to know them. show an interest in them, and they will show an interest in you! good luck! and i'll be around if you need more advice. but don't spend too much time looking at my advice. spend you time taking the advice! i'll check up on you later!

I do kinda get outside now.
But all i do is go a a daily 7km bike-ride.

There really isn't anywhere to 'hang out' around here.
And i finished school two years ago, so there isn't much chance of me meeting people from there.

who'd you think i was? i talked to the people from mit, but it sounded too hard for me-i'm not big on a lot of work, but they said really smart girls are hard to come by so most of them get in and it would be nice to go to a college filled mostly with guys even if they are nerds-lol! but as i said-too much work-and too much money! do you like your job??? and yes, i am hyper quite frequently.
