And why should she ?.

After all Turkey is full of nothing but opportunity for investments !!!.

This won't be the first time, Greece, a country "no more significant" than the city of Istanbul, will be marginalized !!!. Greek propagandist you have much to worry your EU friends and partners no longer believe in your lies and smear campaigns against Turkey especially after the Turkish Secret Service snatched the Turkey's Number One Terrorist out of your hands in Kenya !!!.

Turkey said she would take out those S-300 missiles you people did not know where to hide them and the term "Warehouse Missile" was thus invented thanks to you !.

It seems as though your EU partners also saw clearly the "idiocy" of a NATO country, Greece, bringing Russian influence to the Eastern Mediterranean !!!.

Turkey recently became an Official EU candidate wit NO Pre-conditions, so TRNC stays !.

Your foreign policy is a travesty and everybody is laughing their lungs out !!!.

Typical Greek arrogance.
This will continue as long as Europe looks the other way with every internatinal treaty Greece violates...
Greece has a policy of institutional racism. Greece has been oppressing its muslim (they're Turkish but the assimilation policy of the Greek givernment doesn't recognize this fact) population for decades, Greece is the least developed country in the EU in regards to human rights-yet Europe turns a blind eye on a consistent basis...

Oh oh!!!! Invasion from the Turkish discussion forum eh!!!! I’ve seen another thread of yours in the ‘international Human Rights’ section (in this forum) so I’m going to give an answer for the both of them here. To sum up your opinion is that ‘Greece violates the human rights of the minorities- Greek government massacre children!!!! – Greece has a long way to go if she wants to be characterized as a decent place to live). I should reply immediately by asking you to provide your sources ‘about the documented violation of human rights of the minorities’. I would definitely like to see that!!! Still, I’m not sure if it is the lack of knowledge of history or the outcome of the ‘knowledge’ obtained from the ‘Turkish’ version of history as it is written in the Turkish school books, that lead you to that conclusion!!!! Of course there are several other possibilities such as being a member of the ‘Grey Wolves’!!!!! In such a case I cannot do anything to help your case!!!!!!!
As far as your msg above , I advise you to take a careful lokk at the Lozzanni treaty which describes how the swap of population took place for both sides!!!!!! THIS IS A FACT ( u see it is very easy to overcome propaganda!!) read this and then come again, until then you can continue posting your propagandistic messages in the Turkish discussion forum!!!!! You should know that you r accusing the country which Democracy was born!! Your ignorance is so great ( this is going to be proved by your own words as you will see later on) that I believe you don’t have a clue about what is going on in Greece ( I told you the Turkish discussion forum …how should I say it….well it is not the most unbiased place to look for historical facts!!!). you should learn that Greeks came to the point where they blame their own government for unequal treatment!!!! The latest joke in Greece is that if you want to be treated good by the government you should be a foreigner!!!!! I am not going to discuss with oyu the Human Rights issue in Turkey cause there is nothing more to add further to the comments made by all international Human Rights forums. I could provide thousands of BASED allegations against Turkey but that would be meaningless too!!!! So unless you read the Lozanni treaty I advise you to return to the Turkish discussion forum where you belong.
But let’s see the ACTUAL FACTS!!!
You said ‘the Greek government still persecuting the Pomaks’. I advise you to leave the propaganda for someone Professional cause as I can see you are an amateur!!!IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT I SHOULDN’T EVEN BE BOTHERED TO ANSWER YOU BUT…..FIRST YOU SAY THAT THERE ARE TURKS IN TRACE….BUT THEN YOU ARE CALLING THEM WITH THEIR REAL NAME WHICH IS POMAKS!!!!! (leave it for the professionals kid). Now, let’s see how the ‘Greek government oppresses their human rights’!!!!! please make a copy of what I’m going to write cause I’m not going to repeat it. Pomaks is a minority tribe in Trace with Greek citizenship and serve the army just like all Greeks do!!!! The Greek government in order to PRESERVE their cultural identity, decided to publish school books in their language and provide them with dictionaries SO THAT THEY WILL HAVE THEIR LANGUAGE WRITTEN, CAUSE UNTIL RECENTLY IT WAS ONLY SPOKEN BUT NOWHERE WRITTEN!!!!!!!!!! ( and that was the right thing to do. Let’s compare that with the Turkish policy towards the minorities x exe!!!!!!! Besides that, there are traditional villages which serve as museums for all Greeks to visit!! I guess I should have to go to the eastern part of turkey to meet some Kurds, putting my life in danger because of the genocide IS TAKING PLACE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!
Moreover, while all Greeks must obtain very high marks in order to enter ina university (the average is almost 18 out of 20), the Muslims Greeks are allowed to enter with an average no more than 10 out of 20!!!!!!!( but you see that as a human right violation……..). Furthermore, a Greek Muslim can obtain loans for the full price of the purpose he wants it, WITHOUT PAYING ANY INTEREST!!!!!! I could stop here but it gets even better on how ‘the Greek government violates their human rights’!!!! you should know that there are 4 Muslims people in the Greek parliament out of 300) when their population is no greater than a few thousands!!! AND ALL THIS ARE BY GREEK LAW.
Your msg ot the ‘HUMAN RIGHTS ‘ section is really funny. ‘the racist Greek government which massacred innocent children’!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahah I can only laugh, so keep on!!!! but don’t forget that it was the Greek government which was so much in favor of your application in Copenhagen!!!oh well mistakes…mistakes….mistakes!!!i’ve never done it so far (to characterize anyone) in this forum, but you must be really idiot!! Otherwise I cannot understand how someone can base his propaganda against a country on a social problem present in every western society (Turkey is not a such so you might not have it although I doubt it)! READ YOUR OWN WORDS!!!! These people ARE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AS YOU CORRECTLY SAID!!!! This problem has to do with corruption but you use it a s a way to support your propaganda against Greece!!!! You should also know that not only young Albanians but a lot of young Greeks suffer that too. It is a social problem that the Greek government tries or should try to wipe out. You should also know that these children are mostly expropriated by their own parents (even you with that level of mentality has to admit that it is kind of difficult for 10 years childs to cross illegally the snowing borders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
At the end of your message you wrote something that proves your inability to think (sic). You said that 4 illegal immigrants drawn after a smuggling boat where caught in a storm!!! AND YOU USE THIS IN ORDER TO SAY WHAT????THAT THE GREEK GOVERNMENT MASSACRES PEOPLE?????? ARE YOU BRAINLESS OR WHAT???????? These incidents happen quite often ( unfortunately) in the Aegean sea and most of the times they are Kurds (running away from the ‘Democratic’ Turkey) and Iraquish people!!!!!! Are you familiar with the geographic map??? Do you know which country is at the eastern borders of Greece???? You guess right ( at least I hope so)!!! These people pay thousands of dollars to Turks smugglers which in turn transfers them illegally in Greece!!! This is also a social problem that many advanced countries face (recall US-illegal immigrants from Cuba-Mexico, France……from the African coasts….Italy from Albania and so on)!! this one answers another one of your ‘arguments’ i.e. that Greece has a long way to go to become a decent place to live!! I agree with you!! Compared with France, Germany etc. Greece has a long way to cover. But I am guessing that you were comparing Greece to Turkey!!!!!!!! I am not going to say anything about this cause honestly I can’t stop laughing. JUST ASK ALL THOSE POOR PEOPLE SEEKING A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE AND REACH GREECE VIA TURKEY!!!!!
I am not going to reply to any of your future msgs unless it is well documented and logical based!! I believe that you cannot provide such a thread so I advise you (once again) to return to the Turkish discussion forum.

Currently I do not pay much attention to greece-turkey relations. But it seemed to me that the relations of greece and turkey have improved very much.
Am I wrong with this ?

this constant bickering between greece and turkey is getting a little immature. sort of like the situation in my country between scotland and england.

cyprus, which is a country that used to be in the british empire, is currently split between "greek cyprus" and "turkish cyprus". can someone tell me how that could be because i am not very intelligent? should it belong to just either the cypriots or the british? i think both turkey and greece have no right.

The TUrksh army invaded the North of Cyprus, I think it was in 1974 and keep it occupied. Now they will have to give it back.

The Turkish army saved Turkish cypriots from being massacred at the hands of an illegal (at the time) greek cypriot extreme nationalist government which advocated ethnically cleansing the island of Turkish Cypriots.

As for the comment about England havig control of the island-such a comment couldn't be more comical. I am all for a single unified cyprus, however unless extreme nationalist tendencies from the greek side is subdued, I cannot believe The Turkish Cypriots will be safe, and it will not be in the interest of Turkey to simply watch as they get massacred just like the Bosnians did at the hands of the Serbs.

Roli;
that's the problem. the island is half Turkish cypriot, and half Greek Cypriot. If the existence of Turkish cypriots isn't going to be recognized why would Cyprus be united.
There's no sense in watching another ethnic cleansing campaign take place.
the Greeks have always gotten away with actions such as this because Europe is biased and turns the other cheek when the Greeks are the aggressors.

To give back to the Cypriotes, with Greek majority.

In 1978 20% of the Cyprus population was Turk and it was declining. When the Turkish army invaded the island they occupied half of the country and later sent or deported Turks there with the obvious intention to create a Turkish majority so they could invade all of it in a legal way.
The problem now is that those "immigrants" occupy the former houses of the Greeks who were chased, and when the Turkish army will retire, the Greek want their houses back. Naturally those immigrants are not happy with that perspective.

being a part of the british commonwealth, maybe britain should suspend cyprus's privelege to be a member until the situation is sorted out.
