[The following heartfelt and passionate letter is forwarded on behalf of the author, Anton Mostert, a white Afrikaner Christian who resides in South Africa, in order to bring to the attention of the worlds public the suffering of both blacks and whites under Communist rule in Zimbabwe and South Africa]

Zimbabwe

Allow me, in a few words, to say something about Zimbabwe. I was born in the beautiful Country of Zimbabwe, a Country with great potencial and very good people. When Mr. Robert Mugabe became the first Democratically elected black Communist leader in 1980 he made the statement that Zimbabwe was 'the food basket of Africa', yet today, more than twenty years later, almost nothing of this is left because of one insane man, who is a murderer, a racist, a terrorist and a Communist, is busy destroying a beautiful Country and it's people. And yes, the South African Communist/Terrorist A.N.C. Government is giving him their full support. That's why we in South Africa can expect, very soon, the same situation to come to our own land and farms (It's already happening, slowly). The A.N.C. Government can in no way stop the land-hungry people in South Africa.

The suicide of the Zimbabwean Nation continues as the Country spirals downward into lawlessness and savagery because the Zanu P.F. Government of Robert Mugabe is power-hungry and money-hungry and will destroy anyone in their way. It is the same in South Africa. The most dangerous kind of person in Africa is someone with both power and money, including even our leaders in South Africa. Please, anyone who is out there, be truthful to yourself and other people and see and agree that most of those who are called 'War Veterans' are not even twenty years old! Zimbabwe, or Rhodesia as it was then, became independent in 1980. How can someone aged twenty years or less be a war veteran? And yes, we have truthful information and real facts to show that most of those who are called 'War Veterans' were never involved in the war. But since their President is power and land-hungry, and the so-called 'War Veterans' are the same, the lie continues.

Most of the wildlife in Zimbabwe has been senselessly slaughtered by blood thirsty mobs of Zanu P.F. supporteres, called 'War Veterans', and youth militia's - while Marxist President Robert Mugabe is welcomed and supported by certain western Countries. Some of the greatest Game Reserves in Africa were in Zimbabwe. Now these Reserves are the scene of slaughter. Along with the wholesale poaching, Marxist mobs are involved in wholesale theft, abductions and murder. Properties are burned down. Tourists are being chased out of Safari Camps. Game Rangers are being disarmed, severly assaulted and even murdered. The whole thing is being motivated by a Government trying to stay in power. They neither worry or care if the economy collapses (with inflation already at a rate of over 200%) or if the people starve. This is a CRISIS situation and we need immediate action. Robert Mugabe is destroying what were once some of the most successful farms and Game reserves in Africa. The Murder, rape and torture of white farmers and their black farm workers and their families have continued as thousands of farms are looted, livestock butchered and fields of crops torched by rampaging Marxist mobs with the full support of the Mugabe Government.

There have already been more than 70,000 human-rights abuses. Those of you who claim that Mugabe is involved in the honest redistribution of land in Zimbabwe need to go and visit those farms that have been re-settled on and you will see no productive farming going on there. What were once some of the most productive farms in Southern Africa - provding employment, filling the market place with food, providing produce for export and bringing in foreign currency - are today completly destroyed. The mobs came in, in order to loot, pillage and destroy and in most cases - after having killed off the livestock and wildlife - returned to the shanty towns near the Cities. Some of these farms are today the personal residence of Zanu P.F. officials, including the Presidents wife. Today and every day in Zimbabwe, where living is getting ever tougher, thousands are being arrested, abducted, beaten and tortured by a Communist, terrorist and racist man: Robert Mugabe. Millitants are rampaging throughout the Country attacking people indiscriminatly while the Police do nothing.

January and February were supposed to be some of the wettest months of the year. At a time when Zimbabwe is normally experiancing it's harvest under the most widespread of rains, the Country is instead experiancing a drought.

With crops failing people are hungry and starving throughout the land. President Mugabe has held a witchcraft ceremony. In his speech Mugabe referes to the spirits. He claims to speak with Ancesteral spirits, Goblins and Demons. He even claims that he is possesed by the spirit of Murgenga. Murgenga was the witchdoctor who inspired the war against the white settlers in 1896 which was named after him as the Chimurenga.

The vicious war against Rhodesia which led to independence in 1980 was called the second Chimurenga. It is significant that Mugabe and his followers are calling the farm invasions the third Chimurenga. In his political rallies Mugabe is threatening those who do not support him with curses, evil spirits and evil spells. If anyone should vote for the oppostion Party then the ancestral spirits will torment and destroy them! All this talk of evil spirits, spells and curses seems quite inconsistent with Mugabes avowed Marxism (and he even claims he is a Christian). It is also surprising that Islamic leaders like Col. Qadaffi and even so-called Christains like Mandela, Mbeki, Tutu, Frank Chikane and Alan Boeasak would want to allign themselves with such witchcraft by so generously supporting Mugabe with fuel, finances and armaments.

There is no doubt that the vast majority of Zimbabwean voters have rejected Mugabe and his disasterous Marxist politics. There is also no doubt that Mugabe has no intention of being removed from power even by an overwhelming electoral defeat. However, the long-suffering people of Zimbabwe have reached breaking point. If they are not able to get rid of the tyrant who is oppressing them by the ballot box many will have to resort to bullets. The scene is being set for a violent confrontation in Zimbabwe and South Africa.

My Own Experiance

First, I would like to clarify a very big lie being told all over the world: that the white man in South Africa stole the land from the poor black people and that the black man was first on the land and that therefore they have the right to that land.

For any person that knows the truth and history (documented well enough in many books) knows that when Jan Van Riebeeck arrrived at the Cape of south Africa the first people that he met were the Koisan/Standlopers/Bushmen, and not the blacks.

As the white man slowly moved, tracked through and explored the inland areas he never met with any black African person untill he reached the Fish River. Also, as he moved up further north, he found in many areas empty land with no known person apon it. When the white man arrived in the Natal area he there met the black man. Why? Because the black man also moved, tracked through and explored down the African Continent, and met the white man in Natal.

And what of the white man who then stole the land? There is more than enough proven evidence of how the white man bought and traded for the land from the Cheifs of the area.

And, in what way can any person steal land from someone if there is no one on that land?

I challenge anyone to prove me wrong on this fact. Don't come to me with politically motivated stories, come to me with facts.

At the dawn of Democracy in the Republic of South Africa in 1994 I was a young white man with hopes, who beleived in a future for all South Africans. But today, in 2003, I am very much dissapointed and have only experianced aparthied from the other side. Yes, allow me to say I was one of the soldiers involved in the so-called Bush War in Namibia, Angola and Zimbabwe where, according to the A.N.C. and others, we killed and murdered innocent women, children and refugees. Let me say, it was not our doing that the A.N.C. leaders kept women in their training camps for their own sexual pleasure and that some of those women were also trained terrorists and murderers of innocent people, and not so-called 'Freedom-Fighters'. We never fought against black people, but against terrorists, Communists and murderers. Yes, a lot of people were hurt in that war - on both sides. And yes, I say that not everything done in the old South Africa, Namibia and Rhodesia/Zimbabwe was always done in the right way, but that there was good and bad.

What about the black terrorists who killed innocent Missionaries and farmers, and even more of their own black people? I have more than enough information about this.

If we, as white people, must say sorry, allow me to say I am very sorry that we tried to give them a future, building Schools, Hospitals, Clinics, infrastructure and other help besides.

When Mr. Nelson Mandela became the first black President of the new South Africa, with his black fist of power, we all hoped for a better future. In my own personal opinion, and that of many other South Africans, Mr. Mandela is a terrorist, a Communist and he hates the whites. Just as does Mr. Thabo Mbeki, the second black President. When Mr. Mbeki calls for an 'African Renaissance' what exactly does he mean? Is he calling us to 'humanism'? Is is he merely desiring a return to the pre-christian paganism and animism that afflicted Africa prior to the spread of the Gospel? South Africa is at a crossroads. One choice before us is the 'African Rennaisance' with witchdoctors jumping up and down at state events, legalized abortion, pornography, prostitution, gambling, racial quotas in the workplace - 'Affirmative Action' - so-called 'Black Impowerment', the disarming of law abiding citizens and the resultant wave of crime and violence. There is much talk of the violent crime-wave that is plaguing South Africa. We can look for another reason, blame it on anything or anyone, but it is the tragic fate of South Africa that it has turned away from God and it's laws. The culture in South Africa has become so deformed that we no longer have respect for the rights of others. In the new South Africa a criminal has more human-rights than I do, because I am white. The responsibility of any Government is to protect the lives and property of it's citizens and to punish the criminals. However, the A.N.C. Regime is failing in their duty. Only nine out of every hundred murders result in any kind of conviction or prison sentance at all.

Still, after a few years with a new Democracy, a lot of people still cheerfully blame the anarchy on the old apartied ways. However, they conveniently overlook the A.N.C.'s own strategy of encouraging lawlessness, School boycotts, and non-payment of rates and taxes. Words like 'Liberation Before Education' and 'Kill A Farmer; Kill A Boer' brings only more problems and race hatred in the new South Africa. The A.N.C.'s strategy to make South Africa ungovernable is proving very successful.

While crime and violence continues to plague South Africa Foreign investment and Tourism is chased away. Why does the A.N.C. Government not allow the media to give the true facts of how many tourists are robbed, mugged and murdered in South Africa? There is no more freedom of speech in South Africa, the A.N.C. Communist Government controls it.

By removing the Bible from schools and purging all moral values from education 'humanist' schools inevitably end up creating an illiterate, incompetent, incapable and immoral generation. Laziness, Lathargy, Corruption, Theft, Go Slow, Strike and Toy Toy are all now familiar words and phrases which describe the CRISIS in all too many of the work places of our Country. Unless this disasterous trend is dramatically reversed the economy will eventually collapse. Many Africans say Colonialism is the root cause of every problem. Many of the third world Countries in Africa are in a shocking mess, in One Party Dictatorships, economic chaos, mass malnutrition, famine, civil-war and massacres, and abject poverty. HIV/AIDS has become the norm in Africa. Who is responsible? The black mans own culture, beleifs and ancestor-worshiping is helping to destroy the beautiful Continent of Africa. Then there is 'Foreign Aid' which only helps to increase dependence, corruption and greed rather than developing responsibility. It is not easy for the black African to take responsibility, there is always a, "Yes, but..."

South Africa is suffering from a terrible crime-wave: Approximatly 25,000 people are murdered and 5,000 are raped every year in our Country. Child rape is a big problem in South Africa. And then there is house-breaking and car-theft. In the year 2002 there were 14,600 car-hijakings in South Africa. The horific reality is that each of these figures represents untold hardships, heartache, suffering and grief for individuals and families. You see, in South Africa the 'Peoples Education' of the A.N.C./S.A.C.P./C.U.S.A.T.O. creates and allows only cheap slogans, cliches, 'freedom-songs', the racist fist and the 'Toy Toy' Zombie dance. The endless boycotts, strikes, marches, riots, stone throwing, and vandelism have produced a lost generation of millions of untrained and unemployed thugs, thieves, beggars, rioters, terrorists and so-called 'Political Activists'. Even worse is that the A.N.C. Communist Regime, with their new labour laws and laws for farm workers, is creating with each new day more people without a job. And what is the Government doing? We ask the Government to stop harassing law abiding citizens and wasting the precious time of our hard-pressed Police Force. Instead of more 'constructive' legalizations we need consistent enforcement of existing laws against 5,000,000 illegal firearms in the hands of criminals. Disarming potencial victims makes the working environment of crimianls safer for the committing of crime.

Our State Education is a sinking ship at the moment. Many Africans like Mandella, Mbeki, Tutu, Mugabe and others want to continue the 'struggle' instilling and manipulating feelings of guilt in the rich Western Nations and their peoples as if we, being white alone, must be bad. Yet they still want 'our' money and help. Murder is not sufficiently prosecuted and seems to have become part of everyday life in South Africa.

All we hear every day on National Radio, TV, read in the newspapers and in the rest of the media is how bad the white man is: We are the problem. All black people like to work together and forget about the past. It is only the white man who still does not want to work together... From Thabo Mbeki it's, "A better life for all..." but not for the white South African. Why is there such a brain-drain going on with the people of South Africa?

Also, amoung our own ranks of the Afrikaner we have our trators, in secret organizations like the old Broederbond (todays Afrikanerbond), holding hands with the A.N.C. Communist Regime against their own people. In our local communities, Towns and Cities we experiance corruption and fraud and terrible services delivered by the local Municipalities where basics like water and electricity are stopped because the Local Governemnt people like to live in luxury while the poor man on the street must suffer.

Since 1994 1,500 white farmers have been murdered or killed on our farms in South Africa. What does the A.N.C. Government do to stop it? Nothing. Yes, they are in agreement with the murderers. White farmers are forced to leave their farms. Property on the farms is stolen. Cattle and sheep are killed. The farmers are taxed for everything, even water tax. I thought the water under the ground was free. I never knew it belonged to the A.N.C. Government.

Yes, for everyone reading this, we in South Africa as whites are having and living in difficult times. The high murder rate in South Africa threatens not only the security of individuals but also the peace, progress and prosperity of the whole Country. The only hope for us in Africa, and especially in Southern Africa, is a great reformation and revival. Our land and our Continent needs to acknowledge Gods lordship over every area of life. We need a positive and practical vision from the word of God for our personal lives, for our Churches and for our Nation.

The choice is ours.

It is Gods law or Gods Judgement.

Reformation or 'African Renaissance'

Revival or Repression.

Christianity or 'Humanism'.

In 2004 we will have our next National Elections and in 2005 our local Government Elections. Again we will be told how fair they are and without any intimidation or corruption, but we know how the A.N.C. Government is using it's mighty power to intimidate and force the people to vote for them. There is no such thing as a fair and honest election in Africa. Democracy starts and ends at the ballot box.

Why then, Mr. Mandela and Mr. Mbeki, are you always so busy to solve other Nations problems, yet those in our own beautiful South Africa you cannot solve?
