I can already hazard a guess what most people's answer will be

But will it be the third-rate oilman turned Republican polician or the patrician Democrat for President? And which would be better from the point of view of the UK people?

Of the two, I'm with Kerry all the way

Kerry and Bush???

This is England_dot_com, shouldn't we talk about Blair - Oh no, he's Scottish! Michael Howard then, no wait, he's Welsh-Romanian.
Errr... OK then, Kerry and Bush it is.
I think Kerry may be the more astute politician but I worry about the effect on the ozone layer if he continues using hairspray by the bucketload.

Guys just play along with Voltaire. This is favourite subject of the moment. I am sure he will get bored of it soon and move on to the next thing

Hey if I have had to hear this twice before (from him) then you can all this time around

To be honest im not one for politics or religion for that matter, too many daggers flying about. You only have to look in other forums and see friends turn to foe in just one post. If i do post in these forums i always try to keep it as light as possible........ its just the way i am.

Well I guess you could just vote for Bush - he wasn't fairly elected last time either

Shouldn't we be talking about my favorite socialist PM Blair here? This is England dot com old chap!

But since you opened the door on this topic I'll gladly walk in -- Pinko Senator John Kerry stands about as much chance as being elected PUSA as Custer did of surviving the Battle of the Little Big Horn.

The smart money says a landslide for Bush: 45 out of 50 states.

And Blair, like most of the other main useless morons in the govt, is Scottish not English - so we can say he's got nothing to do with us

I don't think English people are very interested in Politics, it is seen as a bit effeminate (like the Politicians).
