Don't believe a word they say.
Here is a list of European countries which were occupied by Muslims; who were either Arabs, Moors, or Ottoman Turks: Spain 800 years, Portugal 600 years, Greece 500 years, Sicily 300 years, Serbia 400 years, Bulgaria 500 years, Rumania 400 year, and Hungry 150 years

to Barry and IM2CUTE.

I hope you go back to history books and read the real history of humanity.
1.you are a disgrace to human civilisation, because who you are, pure and simple;raciste bastards.
2.the muslims did not occupy no land.if you look closer to the people'S origine in all places you mentioned in your garbage page, you will understand that, the absolute majority of these people looks like their respective brothers,it will be like turkish in the east,or a north african in south(cicilians, maltais, and so on)Moorish,in south of spain,if your forfathers succeeded in submiting the people of southern Europe and force them to change the religion, from ISLAM TO CHRISTIANITY by force and mass deportation(ethnic cleansing),it was simply, one of sad chapter in the history of our human civilisation.definitly they dont looks like you,you Idiots,so stop blame the religion you loosers, this a racist remark deeply rooted in religious hitreat.
You can't compare 800 years of golden age of MOORISH civilisation in andaluse-Spain,TO dark ages of European backwardness at that time.
If you said otherwise or don't agree with me,just imagine you will stop using arabic numerals for a day in your daily life time, use your roman numerals, to make your point across. When you finish and come to your senses, stop and think, how much you were very much ignorant about ISLAM RELIGION,like the inquisitioners before you in Spain, after all ,thanks to your Christians European forefathers who invented and developed racisme,Inquisition,Nazisme,Fashisme.not because of a hobby but in a pure sense of a jalousie. You should be gratifull to this religion and byproduct, our human civilisation progressed and formed a foundation to our recent success.
Now I put it to you in another way: to make you understand, the arabs brought with them under the religion of ISLAM's flag, the wisdome of all other miditerranean civilisations(the bysantine, phonician, roman, egyptian, persian,
and babilonian civilisations, all combined in one,so the selfeesh Europeans like you can lay claim on something never was yours in first time,IDIOTS.
now you get the point or at least aware of something ,it was missing from your so limited knowledge.

Exclamation

I suggest you read the book Jihad by Paul Fregosi. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...268522-3141746
At the least it will be good entertainment!

By the way did you know that Muslims are permitted to lie under certain circumstances? It is in the Hadith. One of these circumstances is war. Many Muslim apologists like Deedat believe spreading Islam is a kind of war and therefore it is OK to lie for Allah and his cause. The sad thing about this is that Muslims have been deceiving Muslims ever since Islam began. http://answering-islam.org/Index/L/lying.html
It seems that all liars believe they are lying for a good cause.

If you have a problem with this and you can prove it to be false, you had better tell Answering Islam. They have already removed some things which were proven false by a few of the apostates who gave up Islam. Answering Islam promises to remove anything that anyone can prove false. So this is your big chance. http://www.answering-islam.org/Hoaxes/removed.html
I suggest you take it up as many people are leaving Islam on account of this site.

And by the way don't respond by attacking Christianity, most people don't really care anyway. But just incase you do, one of the fellows who made the site Answering Christianity is no longer a Muslim.

You can read about it at http://www.answering-islam.org/responses/anschris.html

Oh yeh, Did you know that Turkey used to be a Christian country before it was invaded by Islam? So was all of North Africa, so was Spain. Yes so called "Christian" Countries have done some awful things. For example not long after Portugal had been ruled by the Muslims(for 600 hundred years) they began an inquisition against the Muslims in India. They thought that they would either have to rule the Muslims or be ruled. It was not a Christian attitude but they can hardly be blamed after what they had been through. Did you know that Greece only gained its independence from Turkey a few hundred years ago?

All the answers are in history.

Be brave. It takes courage to question Islam because we all know the fate of apostates. But asking hard questions is not apostacy is it? But unfortunately it might be seen by some as an attack against Islam and we wouldn't want to risk that now would we?

Be brave. Be Strong. You will have to be if you're going to get to the bottom of this mess.

Yours,
Barry

Exclamation Yes, evaluate a religion according to its scriptures

I agree, a religion should be measured by it's scriptures. Unfortunately, according to Islamic doctrine latter revelations supersede previous revelations, this is what is called abrogation. The following is a good read.
http://www.answering-islam.org/BehindVeil/btv10.html

Many people do not realize that Sura 5 and Sura 9 are believed by many Islamic scholars to be the last two Sura's to be revealed by Mohammed. Therefore they supersede (replace) all former revelations where there appears to be a contradiction. The following are just a few of the more than one hundred verses in the Quran which encourage violence toward non-Musliims.

"O believers, fight the unbelievers who are near to you, and let them find in you a harshness; and know that Allah is with the godfearing" (Sura al-Tawba 9:123).

"Fight against those who believe not in Allah and the Last Day and do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger, have forbidden -- such men as practise not the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book -- until they pay tribute out of hand and have been humbled" (Sura al-Tawba 9:29).

"The punishment of those who wage war against God and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;" (Sura Al Ma idah 5:33).

"Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." (Sura AL-BAQARA 2:16)

"Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward," (Sura 4:95)

If you're after a good read about how women should be treated according to the Quran and Hadith (as the top Islamic scholars of the past and present have interpreted them), I suggest you read the following:
http://www.light-of-life.com/eng/reveal/r5405efc.htm

This following is a part of one story taken from the Hadith (the Muslim traditions about Mohammed). Mohammed seems to enjoy it when other men slap his favourite wife in front of him, in fact he laughs. Fortunately Muslims have been kind enough to put this rubbish on the internet.

http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamen...m/009.smt.html

Book 009, Number 3506:
"Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) came and sought permission to see Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). He found people sitting at his door and none amongst them had been granted permission, but it was granted to Abu Bakr and he went in. Then came 'Umar and he sought permission and it was granted to him, and he found Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) sitting sad and silent with his wives around him. He (Hadrat 'Umar) said: I would say something which would make the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) laugh, so he said: Messenger of Allah, I wish you had seen (the treatment meted out to) the daughter ofKhadija when you asked me some money, and I got up and slapped her on her neck. Allah's Messenger (mav peace be upon him) laughed and said: They are around me as you see, asking for extra money. Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) then got up went to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and slapped her on the neck, and 'Umar stood up before Hafsa and slapped her saying: You ask Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) which he does not possess..."

Even Hitler looks like the greatest man to ever live if you only look at his good points. Why do I warn people about the dangers of Islam?

Because many people find themselves in awkward situations because no one warned them.
http://answering-islam.org/behindveil/btv1.html

There has never been freedom of religion for Muslims or freedom of religion for Christians or Jews living in Islamic countries. A Muslim is not free to give up Islam, and a Christian is not free to practice Christianity without fear of the consequences. Jews just tried to survive and pagans were either put to death, forced to accept Islam or put into slavery. They still do this in countries like Sudan. When a Muslim talks about freedom of religion it is misleading. He is using the same terminology but it carries a different meaning.

Why is the Islamic world going backwards if what the Quran teaches is supposed to creat unity and harmony? We all know Muslims try to follow in the footsteps of Mohammed, and despite what anyone might say, Mohammed killed many of his enemies. Revenge is an acceptable practice in Islam.

The Islamic world is going backwards because it is turning to the Quran for the answers. Many Islamic contries are adopting Sharia law (law based upon the Quran and Hadith) Saudi Arabia for example has the Quran as their constitution. If you want to see what Islam does for a country take a look at Saudi Arabia, Afganistan, Pakistan or Sudan etc.

This is serious stuff. We need to warn people about it just like we warn people about dangerous cults. We don't say a dangerous cult is good because it has a large following. The size of its following has nothing to do with it.

Before anyone converts to Islam I strongly suggest you go to Saudi Arabia and Afganistan. Don't just talk with the Muslims but try and find some non-Muslims and see how they feel about the whole situation, you will probably have to be with them for a fairly long time in order to win their trust. A person can end up dead for criticizing Islam.

If you are still in doubt read the Quran and the New Testament. Compare the teachings and ask yourself, which teaching is most likely to lead to world peace, which book really contains good news for humanity?

Re: Yes, evaluate a religion according to its scriptures

Assalaamualaikum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh,
Dominus vobiscum,
Shalom aleichem,
Om Canti, Canti, Canti, Om
Amitabha, Namo Sanghyang Adi Buddhaya, Namo Boddhisattvaya, Namo Mahasattvaya.

I read The Bible, Al Qur'an, Dhammapada, Bhagavad Gita, Tao Tee Ching, Su Si. (but I don't have Adi Granth to read !)
And I evaluate a religion according to its own scripture (not like Muslim who evaluate Christianity according to Al Qur'an, because it is unfair!)
So for Kazanova3 and Abouyassine, tell me about Siddharta Gautama (the Buddha), about Zarathustra (Zoroastrianism), about Guru Nanak (Sikhism)?
Are you say that these man are "NOBODY" and NOTHING SPECIAL IN THEM except your prophet??

I am Catholic, but I still respect them and your prophet as SPECIAL PERSONS who brings new direction to their follower.
And I have never say that their followers are "GODLESS" or "ATHEIST", not as Muslim people who looks the others as "KAFIRUN" or "KUFFAR DZIMMI"!!
I had been preached by some dais, but I still in my faith because I am aware against any false prophet and the Anti Christ as the Bible said!

You can not blame Christianity for those war and other things! Would you please mention these sentences below:
a. It's not Christ nor Christianity who lead a nation to
make war either civil war or Crusade.
b. It's not Muhammad or Islam who lead a nation to make war
c. Those wars and bad things came from "THE FOLLOWERS" will,
Christians (without -ity) and Muslims (not Islam).
Now, in the third millenium, most of other religion believers seems calm and try to make FRIENDSHIP (by diplomacy), BROTHERHOOD (by treaty) AND PEACE (by pact).
There are no more Crusade at all, but I wonder why there is still a JIHAD FISSABILLILLAH call ???

By the way, I do not see any SPECTALULAR MIRACLE in your scripture (ie. Raising the dead - Jesus), Splitting the sea - Mozes, etc) which was written in the Bible.
The Bible bundled from "the creation of the universe" to the "works of the twelve disciples of Christ", so do Bhagavad Gita. But your scripture is confusing, from Daud to 'Isa ibn Maryam then to Ibrahim and to Uhud war etc.

And these thing below sound a little 'creepy' to me :
Christianity - Jesus - THE LIGHT of the world - THE SUN
Zoroastrianism - Ahura Mazda - LION & THE SUN - THE LIGHT
Ancient Greek - Helios - THE SUN - THE LIGHT
Ancient Roman - Saturn - THE SUN - THE LIGHT
Ancient Egypt - Ra - THE SUN - THE LIGHT
Ancient Mayan - THE SUN - THE LIGHT
Ancient Incas - THE SUN - THE LIGHT
Islam - MOON AND STAR - THE NIGHT (THE DARKNESS ???)
I just wonder and curios, would you please do not angry ?

Wa bilahil taufiq wal hidayah,
Wassalaamualaikum warahmatulaahi wabarakaatuh.
Pax Christi sit semper vobiscum.
