Remember my telling you about the psychiatrist who works in my building? The one who takes me to the art exhibits with him? Well, he walked into my office when I was posting on that other thread so I showed him a few of the messages. He asked me if I would email him some of the posts, so I just gave him the entire thread. He promised me a report. Well, I got it and I am emailing it, IN ITS ENTIRETY to you guys. He also sent me some articles which I read over the weekend. They are real eyeopeners. Have you ever heard the term "christofacism?" It's a new term to define this type of addictive behavior.

He urged me to tell you both to realize the futility of trying to hold any kind of meaningful debate ON ANY LEVEL. Brainwashing (and this is his term) needs deprogramming. It's a painful, often unsuccessful process.

His advice? Run, don't walk.

Winston, what did I tell you? Niquie went slinking off, but the very minute her fellow toadies began to post, she's right back here. Did you ever see anyone as cowardly in your life?

How did your day go? It went pretty good on this end. But it's so strange--when you are on a fast, foods that never appealed to you suddenly become manna from heaven. Popcorn. I don't like popcorn but I got a whiff at the convenience store and I wanted to grab a bag. And at the park an old man was eating a peanut butter sandwich. I hate peanut butter, but I would have traded my car for his sandwich.

I dont have a very good opinoin of a doctor who would diagnose a patient he has never met. Sounds like a quack. Probably she made it up anyway because no reputable doctor would do something unprofessional like that. My fast went fine but I did cheat and drink grape juice once. I feel very refreshed tonight.

At first I thought she was just one of those people who craves attention. But after reading things Rikbe wrote, I thought about it and came to the conclusion that the reason she hangs around is for contact with Grafix. I do believe it bothers her when Grafix shows any interest--good or bad--in anyone else. She immediately tries to draw his attention back to her.

Isn't that a hoot what she is saying about that doctor? I can fax him a picture of a worrisome place on my leg and maybe he can not only diagnose it across the miles, but he can also get her to post a prescription on this board for me. Can't you just imagine the kind of practice a doctor like that would have--probably works at the free clinic.
