Not interested and I have heard it all before about Islam and a couple of other religions as well.
Which makes it hard to believe when the same thing is said about other religions too.

Curious if you had compiled this list of articles about Islam as the Fastest Growing Religion entirely on your own, I did a quick search on Google, and found that you did not. In fact there are quite a few sites out there proclaiming through lists of articles virtually identical to yours that Islam is the fastest growing faith.
Did you READ these articles? I started going down the list. The one on Australian aborigines converting to Islam says they converted to try and escape perceived oppression and discrimination from whites, only to find the same racism among their Muslim brothers. The "Final Call" article on Islam in Mexico is so dated it is no longer available. The other article on Islam in Mexico placed the Islamic population nationwide in the "low thousands", and that those who converted were not part of the Catholic community, but were instead isolated communities that were actively proselytized by Arab-funded Spaniards. The Hawaiian article is also out of date and no longer available. And so on... Frankly, the world's religions are in a constant state of flux, waxing and waning every day. The proponents of every religion try to convince the unconvinced that they are on the upswing, to make them think they are the winning team. One could probably compile a similar list of articles with at least one reference to the growth of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, and so on, if one wanted. Interestingly, a lot of the articles on Islam revolve around populations that feel they are disenfranchised. Perhaps they see parallels in the struggles of the Palestinians and others in the world- but where is the message of self-determination and empowerment? Without this, they will be just as disenfranchised under Islam.

Thank you Green but I have done my exploring and found my faith (not that elements won't change as I explore more) but it is not Islam and never will be Islam or some others either.

Hello evryone, did anybody wonder, despite the news & war going around about Islam, which had tarnished Islam's image, why the non-muslims still convert to Islam? What was it that convince them to convert?

Might it be that Islam is not growing so fast, but other religions are loosing support rapidly? As born and raised in Sweden, with religion more as a "spice" than a lifestyle, I am not surprised that Islam is growing since we are becoming a multi-cultural community, while our own lutheran church canīt even afford to keep their churches since people donīt go there. (Fact is that I think that if it wasnīt for Christian immigrants to our country, the state of Christianity would be... say... 8 feet under)

Creative...
Mormons retroactively baptize all of their ancestors and their families into the Mormon Church.
Thus, folks who lived thousands of years ago, and never even heard of Mormons can be counted. Further, given that there are various familial connections whose descendants are living today- Mohammed, King David and others would probably be among those counted "officially" Mormons.

The high growth rate of Islam has more to do with the reproduction rates of Muslims than with conversions.

That they have a large family indicates that they recognize the immorality of contraception, which further indicates that they are faithful Catholics.
There is nothing inherently wrong with not having children. For infertile couples it is actually holier to not have children, as the Church condemns in-vitro fertilization and other such processes as sinful. Celibacy is superior to marriage in God's eyes, so there is nothing wrong with priests not having children. The sin of contraception consist of severing the bond between the unitive and the procreative ends of intercourse. |

That's all fine and well...
God created a finite earth, the capacity of which to cultivate adequate crops to feed man is rapidly being approached, all the while displacing the natural paradise and diversity of species which God would have created in Genesis, no?
He intended us to procreate geometrically and feed like locusts, to crowd each other until we die of starvation and other self-induced cause brought about by our uncontrolled procreation? I have a very hard time with this...
