Cool

Hello all,

God sent his messengers to people so as to guide them, and gave the former proofs for their credability as well.

So he defied people with the fields they were specialized at:

1- Egyptians were good magicians, that's why he gave Moses -peace be upon him- that power with his stick.

2- The people of Israel were excellent physicians, that's why Allah gave Jesus Christ -peace be upon him- that power to heal and resurrect the dead.

3- Arabs were excellent at linguistics and poems full of wisdom were improvised and uttered at the spot. That's why Qur'an came to defy them with what they were really good at. The pagans said: it was plain magic; and Mohammed -peace and blessings be upon him- wasn't known as a poet before God sent his revelation to him. However, he was well-known to be and titled during his youth: the honest, trustworthy...

So for those who wouldn't appreciate the linguistic side of the Quran bcoz of not knowing Arabic, Allah sent Qur'an for the whole humanity and not only Arab speaking nations.

Check this website to learn more about the miracles of Quran:

I hope you take the time to browse through it , and enjoy it....

Really amazing!!

you know, you're right...and i found it so easy for a nordic type as myself to identify with a bedouin conquering the arabian peninsula; in fact i've been using alot more throw pillows and smoking opium from a hooka

Kinison getting kinky

Smoking is different than soaring to attend that "Great gig in the sky" or to imagine a "black Hole Sun'....

I thought Nordics (Vikings) would identify easier with bedouins than others...aren't humankind originally nothing but tribes wandering here and there?..

By the way, people of Mecca, where the prophet -peace & blessins be upon him- came from, weren't bedouins..they rather looked at others in living in the desert as bedouins...Mecca is an old town and they lived in houses rather than tents...

Far Out! You mean this whole thing was a giant hose job? I feel violated. Very entertaining, though. Got any more?
