We are about to do a school project about Sweden and the Swedish culture. The material will be presented as a webpage, which you can visit when its done. Now we need a little help from you. What do you think we should write about? What do you think is unique about Sweden? How is your view of Sweden? Our own ideas reflects profiles, monarchy, politics and so on. With profiles we mean: Volvo, IKEA, Ericsson, the Nobel Prize and so on. Thank you for your participiation.

En röd Saab-jävel med dubbla kofångare? Now, that is unique.

I think Pucko should be in that essay. Now, that is something unique.

Vasaloppet!

its a swedish skiing event. From "Sälen" to "Mora" right? It´s originated from the ruler named Gustav Vasa, when he was chased by the danes.

Wasnt Tomas Alva Edison swedish, or part swedish? but he lived in america. Invented the light bulb.

wasn´t that guy, Ford.. Swede as well? Not to mention Gandhi, who was born Sven.

I think Nobel should be mention. Not perhaps for invention dynamite, but for what he has meant for science

and don't forget George Ulrik Washington, one of the founding fathers...

Another famous Swede, was Karl Winston Churchill.

Oooh-oooh. Make sure you cover the zipper in your section on Swedish inventions. That way you could go around asking young men what they thought of Swedes every time they got their uh, their...ball bearings and friend stuck when they zipped their pants.

No seriously, The Hives are a pretty popular band in North America for those that like punk music.

Also most foreigners still have that stereotype that most Swedes are really tall, anorexic looking, blonde, blue eyed and big boobed if they're women.
