I also have to make a project about NZ.
There aren't a lot famous New Zealanders, but I found a few.

Lord Ernest Rutherford => First to split the atom 1908 Nobel Price in Chemistry

Lucy Lawless => actress (Xena,Warrior Princess)

Danyon Loader => Swimmer (Olympic Silver 1992, wo Golds 1996)

Denny Hulme => Formula One World Champion 1967
