Harmison deserved all those wickets, the guy was a star and not bad
looking either...lol

I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!
I was in the pub watching the ManUre get a hiding and someone said England needed 13 runs for an innings victory, and I thought "he must be drunk already and it's only 2 O'clock"
Wish I was out there, with the barmy army and wavy navy, lucky devils.

Its easier to understand than most games and so relaxing to watch at times !!

When I was at school we had a cricket week when the different houses
had matches against each other and we pupils got the afternoon free
to watch out team...there were four houses in the school and they played
each other twice in a limited overs game !!

Have to say most of the time I never watched the cricket but the boys
playing...hehehe

mykfin

I was amazed at that score, when the first few went down I expected the
rear guard to do their stuff but they looked lost out there !!

Roll on the next game

Oh No !!

Rounders has four posts to run too but cricket has only two stumps to
run inbetween.
These are called wickets which consist of bales and stumps. the bats
are bigger in cricket too !!

For Museum, and others who don't understand Cricket

CRICKET explained

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.
Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.

When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and is in.
There are two men called umpires who stay out on the field all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.

When both sides have been in and all the men have got out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!

S'easy-peasy
