Well thats another four years flew by, and another fantastic opening ceremony, this time in Athens, the home of the Olympic games. Im glad everything has turned for the Greeks......... well almost everything.

Leon Taylor and Peter Waterfield win Britons first medal at the Olympics a silver in the synchronized 10 m dive.

Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms reached the semi-finals of the badminton mixed doubles today beating China`s Chen and Zhao 15-8 17-15.

Robertson and Emms win the silver after they lost a very exciting final to the defending Chinese champions Goa and Zhang.

After all the injuries and bad luck Kelly Holmes gets her well deserved gold medal in the 800m
