It is time to stop the propaganda as a way to promote Tutkish interests. I'm reffering to the advs used by the Turkish ministry of Tourism. It happened to see these advs both on tv and on mags.Once again the purpose is to pursuade us that Turkey is European country 'where the west meets the east'!!In their attempt , they use Greek monuments like AGIA SOFIA, a church-symbol for all Greek orthodox, arcaelogical places like EFFESSOS and ALLIKARNASOS and several other places. The common thing about these monuments is that all were made by Greeks. Still, what is outrageous is their attempt to alter the internal part of the temple AGIA SOFIA, which was initially full of Greek-orthodox pictures and wallpapers. I don't want u to beleive that i'm biased against Turkey, but these things have to be said!!why do you thing tahat all 'turkish' monuments are situated in Minor Asia and around Black sea where there are the Greek monastiries!!!the answer is clear despite the turkish efforts to hide the truth!!these are the areas where Greeks used to live for ages and these monuments represent the Greek culture. Respect to the history of those monuments would be the least that the Turkish government should have. but no, they try to convince us that Turkey contributed the most to culture!!!! oh well, we all know what is Turkey's contribution to what is known today as civilization!!!
