Hi all,

I need some urgent help regarding some questions below so I hope some kind souls here who have answers, pls share with me!

I have 3 friends going to Gothenburg with us and we're trying to book tickets now, intending to fly on 2nd week of January from Singapore. We are all youths under 26 and have ISIC identification to prove that we're full time students.
In fact, we're going to Chalmers U to study..

Q1 : What's the cost of getting from
(i)Stockholm --> Gothenburg
Which is cheaper? Plane or Train?
(ii)Copenhagen --> Gothenburg
Which is cheaper? Plane or Train?

This is help us decide which city to book our air ticket to.

Q2 : When we are there, we intend to find an apartment to share so as to cut down on our living expenses (we're all spending our own savings while studying there, so its really tough..). We are willing to share rooms so maybe we need a 2 bedroom apartment.

(i) How do we look for such apartments?
(ii) What's the estimated monthly rent?

I hope someone can reply and help us out here!
Much thanks in advance!

additional question

Hi again,

1 more question...
The last time I went to Stockholm was in March 2003
and I had some trouble with walking on the ice in the car parks and stuff...

so i'm thinking of getting this thing called the Yaktrax Walkers which you put underneath your shoes to increase traction.

http://www.wisementrading.com/winter/yaktrax.htm

Q : Is it effective? Will I be able to purchase it cheaper in Gothenburg? (Cos if I order from US, the shipping costs aren't too kind)

Pls reply!

Pauline

If you are afraid to slip, you can by something similar cheaper in a shoe-store in Sweden.
