Hello, I was wondering if anyone here knows the name of the ferry boat that operates between Copenhagan, Denmark and Stockholm, Sweden? Your useful assistance will be appreciated.

I don't think the ferries go from Stockholm to Copenhagen.

I think only the cruise ship does.. but I don't know as a fact.

Here's a link to 3 ferry companies and a cruise company

Scandlines
http://www.scandlines.com

Silja

Norwegian Cruise Lines

I think I'm forgetting a ferry line.. maybe someone else will think of what else there is.

Nope Tiakis, there are no ferries operating on that route. From Stockholm, there are ferries (cruise ships) operating to Finland, Gotland (Sweden), the Baltic states and Poland. You can take a ferry from Copenhagen to Malmö or from Fredrikshavn (also in Denmark) to Gothenburg.

Trains leave from Hovedbanegården (the Central Station). I would guess that you take the train to Malmö (Sweden), and change to a train to Stockholm there.

Here is another route which I had found out from Helsingor, a seaport city located approximately 70km north of Copenhagen.
This city is primarily a shipping and rail-ferry terminal for travel to Swenden. The biggest attraction of the city is the 16th century Kronborg Castle, an imposing edifice which originally served as a toll-collection station for ships seeking passage from Denmark to Sweden. The castle is also the famed setting for Shakespeare's "Hamlet".
