If you drive in Stockholm, you might experience that no one spontaneously will stop and help you if your car break down. Most help in Stockholm will be estimated in quantity of money, yes! It works better on the countryside, where people might actually stop and ask you if you need help Wherever you choose to drive, you should have no specific problems because you are a woman.

June is a fine month in Sweden, it is not the warmest - but the brightest time of the year. 25-26th of June is Midsummer, one of the biggest and most traditional holidays of Sweden.

Most Swedes have their vacation throughout July (the warmest month and when most of "official Sweden" close down). That is also when you, among with Midsummmer's, might experience a lot of traffic among the roads.

I can concur that Swedes, in general, tend to be pretty quick to help with things like that.
