CANADA to NZ want job & home south island

I am 20 wanting to live, work, travel, snowboard, camp,
go fishin, surfin........ in this awsome lookin country, just a little curious. lots of snow in july? i hope. I want
a job on south island somewhere( with staff accom.) experiance working on ski hill in the Canadian rocky mnts. , campgrond maintainace exp.
I luv mountains. I hope to go for at least 6-12months. please anyone tell me about good jobs for a younger man. p.s life in Canada is cool, but right now i'am livin with the folks and workin in a deli!

Please help my future trip to be wicked!

Well any ways I was snowboarding up at fortress, a mount. in Alberta Ca. (1hour drive) and i was riding in powder up to my freekin gut and it was the best riding this season so far. well be welcome to reply about anything in this area of interest thanx . gotta go jump on my dog sled and head home yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahoooooooooowaaaaaaachaaaaaa!

Queenstown has plenty of winter work, but the accommodation is difficult and can be expensive.

Have you thought of Ruapehu? (Good scene, North Island though) slightly later ski season but it can go thru to Dec (like last year).
The accommodation is easier up there.

Hi Fowler-USA to NZ here. Just wondering if you had any luck. I am going to NZ in Aug and was wondering what kind of job info you found. I'm a beach girl myself but good luck on finding ski work. I haven't seen more than 2 in. of snow in my life. When are you trying to go? Let me know what you have found out!
